I prefer a check here. I think the average player at this level is bad enough to call with just a straight draw here, and if you bet he obviously is going to put you in a hard spot. By checking you control the pot, and allow him to bluff missed flush draws on the river, or maybe make him think hes value betting a smaller set or two pair. And if he does have the straight, then you can get to showdown cheaply and say "nh sir".

I think betting just bloats the pot in what started out as a simple limped pot, and has the potential to turn it into a monster that never needed to be.

Info on villain would also be really helpful in this spot.
