Supernova quest

Posted 07-03-2009 at 12:42 AM by bluandbrneyes
Hi all. I am not new to poker. I have been a cardrunners member for close to 2 yrs (recently ending it) I had been playing holdem and up to 75,000 hands a month and I never made it past 50NL though. I was not able to sustain Supernova for more than 3 or 4 months but it was quite a feat getting there.

I had to start working and pretty much quit poker for awhile. The job is over, and now I want to concentrate on PLO and PLO8. I seem to do well in the tournies, placing 16, 8th, and 10th in my last 3 multi table tournaments but they pay the big money for the top 3 only...really wish they would change that.

Starting over my goal is to make supernova again and cash in the 1500.00 bonuses monthly, and collect unemployment. (I got the okay from the wifey). I will be starting from scratch and not sure if it will be full ring or 6 max. I have recently done way better finally at 6 max.

I live in Vegas and basically there are only 2 casinos (off strip) that play Omaha period and that is 4/8 limit. One is Omaha8, the other is Omaha high.

Right now my biggest problem is getting money into Pokerstars as I have 200 in Full Tilt that I need to get someone to help me transfer or trade.

I also attend the monday poker discussion group meetings here in Vegas, lotsa of members have written some very good books, like Dr. Al (Alan Schoonmaker), Jim Brier, and Sam..They are pretty old school, but alot of fun to hang out with and play at the tables with. I've learned alot from them. they are not that computer savvy (atleast playing wise and only play limit/no limit holdem) I am the only one playing PLO and a majority of that online (another thing that they cant understand living in Vegas).

Well, I've said way to much. I will be posting daily about my daily play, life in Vegas, Movies, and some sport betting. There will be talk of bankroll management too. cya
