Well, my little hiatus from the poker world is probably going to be cut short. I had a really fun summer planned out that involved lots of road tripping, climbing, and crushing. Unfortunately it looks like must of that will not happened because I injured myself, so instead I will be hanging around the house for a solid 6-8 weeks with nothing much to do except play poker I guess. When I cant climb I cant really do much of anything else that will sustain my interest all day other than poker. Sure...

Enough is enough. I finally bit the bullet and did what I've needed to do for a while now. I self banned myself for a few months A week off here, a few days off there, and so on just wasnt cutting it. I've tried every trick in the book to try and bring myself out of this scheit hole runbad streak, except the long break, so thats what I am doing. To be honest I am actually really excited about it. I havent really enjoyed playing poker for over 6 months now, and to be playing and not having a good...

I decided to start a new database. I got really tired of rebooting inbetween my mac and pc partitions and transferring all my hands back and forth. Got to be very tiresome and tedious, so I finally just installed the mac version of PT3 and won really use HEM anymore. Yeah, HEM is better, but it really doesnt make much of a difference to me. I basically just upload hands to it to see if I am winning or not. I dont utilize all the fancy pants features it has at all, so if I am just tracking PT3 works...

Hanging around waiting for the PL08 ftops event to start and figured I might as well throw an update out there. Past couple of months of poker have been pretty bollocks.

As you can see its back on the uppity, but got pretty low at one point. I think my lowest point was actually at -10k at some time, which would be my largest downswing ever, but so it goes. What got me bummed this time around wasnt...

Today was my first day of real poker in a couple of weeks I do believe. It was nice to get back into it. A short self ban followed by a fun climbing trip is always good for my poker. I played a decent session of 100 hu and ended up +6-7 stacks, and am back to getting called all kinds of donkey this and lunchbox that. It feels good to be back in that spot Its where I always want to be. My after hours project with me stars roll is going decently as well. Played some 50 6max today and had a hoot...
