You know. I happened to look down at the bottom of the plomaha screen, and it said today was your birthday!

Happy birthday mate! Hope you are enjoying the day.

    Jeff,
Just wanted to say thanks for your help in getting the Trademark for the World Championships of Pot Limit Omaha. It was officially registered, and I got the certificate in from the US Patent & Trademark Office this week. Should be interesting.
    Thanks again,
    Doug

Yeah, about a 1/3 of the tables will have 2+ short stacks on them it seems. I think during the day, it might be a little bit worst than during the evenings. I really haven't had too many problems finding good spots with full stacks, though.

Hey Jeff, are you sure you are paying attention to the number of short-stacks at your 6-Max tables at the .50/$1 tables? I was giving a lesson this morning and EVERY table had at least 2, and sometimes 3 short-stackers on both FTP and Stars

I recently just got my laptop rebuilt and my PLO DB back on it. In that time, I have been playing HU here and there with some success. I am excited to be putting together a bunch of posts for the small stakes forums, since they seem to die unless I decide to unveil my donkiness.

Just wanted to let you fellas know that I am still alive and jammin'!

GL all,

JTI

Had to back up all of my shit and migrate over to Windows 7. I obviously can't read directions, because my HEM isn't working yet. Soon enough I'll touch back on the hands that I posted a while back during my 10k hand review. So far, the OS has been great, and I'm really looking forward to using it. It might even inspire some run good!

I have been entertaining myself with the pokertableratings.com site, just because it makes me feel better that a lot of players are pretty much...

I logged 10k hands on FTP and decided that I'm not going to play another hand until I review a large portion of them. I have done this (somewhat) in previous times of trying to improve my game, but this time I am taking it quite a bit more serious by documenting and note taking the obvious mistakes. It is now very clear as to why I did not win over this batch of hands.

Yes, just a poker post this time.

Best of luck at the tables!

Not much action by anyone else, so I posted a bunch from my session this evening. I found myself in a lot of interesting spots where I needed some help. Although I am sure that I am spewing in some pots, I think that it is far more developmental for my game to start opening up my play a bit. It seems to be much easier to play the game when I have an established image at the table where my opponents have to guess a little bit more.

I haven't started eating mandarins yet, although...

Playing a little bit more monkeyish as of late and finding some OK spots as of late. Gotten my money in bad a few times, but it hasn't gotten out of control. I seem to have a problem where I am able to figure out the likely "correct" play, but it takes me far too long. I am really hoping that it is a learning process and decisions will come to me more naturally. I have a small list of general thinking before betting/checking:
