Default Your Best Advice

For PLO newbs like myself, what is your best strategic advice to avoid being the biggest fish at the table while trying to learn the game.

Note: online, microstakes, 6 max

make goals in terms of what you want to achieve and the try to figure out how to achieve that. Not being the biggest fish is setting the bar too low and a vague goal. Set yourself a real tangible, yet simple goal that you can clearly express in a short paragraph, not an essay. Write it down.

Then try to find a strategy to get closer to it. Understading what you want is halfway to getting there.

Also, post lots of hands, and get advice from others in forums such as this. Just simply talking and thinking about hands with others will greatly improve your game.

Play hands that make nuts, and always only draw too the nuts. Dont pay off too much and dont bluff. Stay away from unconnected hands and hands with small pairs. In other words
