Re: Call the play
If he had a straight draw he would not call the flop reraise, if he had a straight + flush draw i think he would shove the flop. I'd just bet 3/4 the pot here and see what he does. If he reraises all-in, it's a clear fold ofcourse.

Re: Call the play
I prefer a check here. I think the average player at this level is bad enough to call with just a straight draw here, and if you bet he obviously is going to put you in a hard spot. By checking you control the pot, and allow him to bluff missed flush draws on the river, or maybe make him think hes value betting a smaller set or two pair. And if he does have the straight, then you can get to showdown cheaply and say "nh sir".
I think betting just bloats the pot in what started out as a simple limped pot, and has the potential to turn it into a monster that never needed to be.
Info on villain would also be really helpful in this spot.

Flop pot shows strength on this board. Do you think villian will bluff any significant number of times.
Also what about missed value against a FD, which these villians never seem to fold?
A 6♥ can be an action card on the river. I dont see any other rivers that payoff.
Also whats the plan against a flop repot?

Re: Call the play
I bet here, the standard amount I would usually bet.
The reason this is such a tricky spot is because you didn't raise preflop, which I think is a clear mistake.
As played I bet the turn

Re: Call the play
Obviously the Turn is where this hand gets interesting, but the preflop pay needs to be addressed. One of the fundamental concepts of PLO is to 'bet your hand.' Bet your hand!
Don't mistake this advice for re-potting with AAxx when you have a lot of money left behind and will be giving your hand away... but do not limp into pots with strong hands. Even if you only raise 2bb or 2.5bb from early position, that's better than limping in. If you like your hand... build the pot, as long as you aren't revealing your hand.
On the Turn, I think you can check-call to induce bluffs from certain opponents, but betting to charge a flush draw is reasonable as well. Without reads on your opponents or these games, it's hard to make a clear recommendation either way.
When in doubt, I lean towards betting.

Re: Call the play
Are you saying I should build a pot preflop with AAxx rainbow or AABx rainbow in this case?
If that is so, I will have to make some non-cosmetic changes in my play.
As for this hand, I'm in position, so there is no check call.
Either I check behind or I bet.
If I bet I'd likely have to fold to a shove.
So its bet/fold or check.
I think you are recommending bet/fold. right?
Also please address the issue of a flop repot by villian. I'd have to think I'm up against KQTXhh. Do I give it up there?

Re: Call the play
I see enough people putting it in with a slowplayed JJJ and 666 on turn that I would betcall it as played.
The rest I agree with US with.
