Default Too light to stack off?

Is it too light to stack off here? I can't see checking this Flop, but can we possibly bet/fold? Also, I'd like some feedback on cbet sizing in 3bet pots?

I definitely prefer a check on this board because his shoving range is mainly going to include pairs + FD which will obviously have you in really bad shape so you definitely cant stack off, and when you dont have him beat you will be able to bet your way out with a delayed Cbet most of the time. A check will allow you to evaluate on the turn and either call down if you hit or represent if you dont.

I dont mind the cbet.

Having said that a check is great as well, although fairly transparent.

I dont think I can bring myself to stack off here. But the odds are tempting.

The reason you shouldn't bet is the exact reason you're questioning a bet/fold. In position, this is a check behind, you have enough equity that you can peel a turn card if you brick & you give yourself an opportunity to catch up when you are trailing. Now OOP, you have to bet/fold. There are too many better flush draws out there and pair+draw combinations.

I check behind here. You have a pair+weak fd and you don't want to get blown off your hand+ there is a lot of turn cards that help put you into a position to stack off. A 5 almost gives you the best hand, a 4 gives you a wrap+pair+fd, 9 gives you inside wrap+pair+fd. Also, I think your C-bet is big. If I had a set or AAxx w/hearts I would probably bet $41 so I would bet the same with my bluffs

I like bet/folding here. Villains check raising range is almost certainly going to always be hands that have us crushed, i.e. better pairs + better flush draws, so I can feel pretty comfortable betting with the anticipation of either picking up the pot right then and there, or getting away from a hand that could have us crushed.

This is a 3 bet pot and I want to keep the ball on my side of the court. If I check behind here I envision too many difficult or nasty scenarios on the turn. What happens when a brick hits and villain leads into us for close to full pot, or better yet when the heart comes and we get bet into again, or even when we make some scheisty two pair? From a reasonably competent and aggressive opponent I would expect to see this happen a lot. If all the same sort of turn cards come and we get checked too again, are we supposed to take a stab now? I just foresee too many complicated and difficult scenarios on the turn when we check behind. I prefer to keep things pretty simple and straight forward.

I bet somewhere between 40-45, and stacks are just barely deep enough that I think we can still get away from this if need be.

Now someone rip me a new one please

Ya, bet/folding Sucks here...but so does your hand on this flop. I agree with checking behind and reevaluating here. Just please please please also check behind a balanced range...not just weak combo hands. As somebody said, it IS really predictable. If I notice somebody checking behind here, I barrel the turn and river 90% of the time unless villain is really competent or a chronic slowplayer. Range balancing = king.
